Kitten Applications Are Temporarily Open!

Sorry, I know… first there’s a bunch of reading:

  • Kittens do not go home until they are 12-13 weeks old. It is rare, but occasionally kittens will be held back if they need to heal longer from spay/neuter surgeries or if we do not believe they are ready to go quite yet.
  • Please make sure you have read our FAQs page! If you ask questions in your application that are already answered on the FAQs page (pricing, transport costs, etc), your application will receive lower priority.
  • Applications typically close within 24-48 hours
  • If your application is selected, we will send you a message, and a 10-20 minute video call can be scheduled for you to meet the kittens. We do not allow deposits/reservations until you have met the kittens over video call and have reviewed the contract we send you. Please note, we try not to keep others waiting, so if you are unavailable for a video call within the next 24-48 hours, we may move on to the next person. We try to respond to all applications, even those not selected, but be aware that a response can take up to 2 weeks.
  • You can refer to our instagram, @mainegreekgarden, for more photos and videos of each Litter. If you click on our profile, you will see the “_____ Litter” highlight reels near the top!
  • We receive quite a few great applications each round and while it breaks our hearts, we are not able to choose each family right away, with the limited number of kittens we have. We take note of those who have applied multiple times and we try to select a kitten pairing for each suitable family within 2-3 application cycles whenever possible. Currently we are in the middle of a baby boom, so there are a lot of chances coming up to apply for a kitten!

At this time, we have two kittens open for application: Cronus from our Titans Litter, and Titus from our Colossus Litter.

Titus will be ready to go to his new home as soon as October 15th, 2025, and Cronus as soon as October 17th, 2025! These are the dates that each kitten will turn 12 weeks old.

Titus is most similar in personality to his brother Midas from our first Cora x Apollo litter. He is filled with energy and seems to alwasy have the “zoomies”. He loves to climb and is always playing with his siblings or exploring new areas while they sleep. He even likes to climb up onto his mom, Cora’s, back and ride around. Titus is very well socialized with his crew of littermates and his friends from the Titans litter, but he does take a little more time to adjust to new situations – he likes to be the boss!

Cronus is a sweet gentle giant. While he was more shy in his early weeks, he has come out of his shell nicely and loves playing with his big crew of friends in our large nursery. Cronus has always been a huge fan of belly rubs. He is a fan favorite in our nursery for his gentle disposition and his sweet, quirky behavior.

Next application opening dates: October 9th (Selene x Kratos Litter of 4), October 18th (Clio x Kratos Litter of 4)
We open applications for each litter on the day they turn 8 weeks old!
*Not all kittens in each litter will be available. Existing kitten families can reserve kittens a day before applications open, and we sometimes keep some behind as potential King/Queen Prospects.*

Please read through the new steps to learn how to acquire a Greek Garden Maine Coon kitten:

1. When kittens reach 8 weeks of age, we will send an announcement to our email list (sign up at the bottom of this page) and post updates on our Instagram and Facebook pages. At that time, the application will become available on this page. The application will typically remain open for 24–48 hours, depending on the number of submissions received.

Applications open publicly with each litter.

2. Once applications are closed, we will spend some time reading through each application and selecting homes for each kitten. This process can take up to a week, or in rare cases, a little longer. If you are selected for a kitten, you will receive a text or email from us informing you which kitten(s) we would like to consider you for, and we will schedule a video call for you to meet the chosen kittens.

Priority Order for Kitten Selection

1 – Our cattery’s selection

2 – Existing kitten families

3 – All remaining applicants (slight priority given to those wanting to get two or more siblings together)

We understand that family situations can change, so to ensure we have the most up-to-date information, we no longer keep new applications on file. Instead, a new application will be required for each litter you would like to be considered for.

3. Once the video call is completed, if you would like to go forward with the reservation process, you will receive a copy of the contract for the chosen kitten. You will have 24 hours to review the contract and submit the deposit in order to reserve your kitten.
