Meet Our Majestic Maine Coon Kings

Greek Garden Maine Coons

All of our Maine Coon Kings and Queens undergo thorough health testing, including graded hip x-rays, heart echocardiograms, DNA panels, bloodwork, and fecal and respiratory PCRs as needed. These tests ensure optimal health and breeding quality. All of our breeding cats are TICA and/or CFA registered, ideal for producing top-quality kittens for breeding or show.

Red Classic Tabby, TICA and CFA Registered

At Greek Garden Maine Coons, we take pride in our dedication to ethical breeding practices, and Apollo is at the heart of our mission. As one of our Maine Coon Kings, Apollo exemplifies the very best of the breed. With his stunning red classic tabby coat, large frame, and regal demeanor, he has sired numerous healthy, beautiful kittens that have found loving homes across Utah and beyond.

Apollo has the sweetest, most loving personality and spends the entire day with us. He gets along wonderfully with all of our Queens and even our dogs! Apollo is our lap buddy—he runs up to and jump on our laps whenever he sees us.

We have kept three of Apollo’s daughters, Athena, Selene, and young Eris.

Apollo has a lower than average COI, a clean genetic panel, wonderful hips and straight legs, an impressive pedigree, and no family history of health problems. He has one of the strongest immune systems we have ever seen, never developing so much as a single eye crust or sneeze. We are very grateful for this boy and couldn’t have asked for a better stud!

TICA One-Show Champion!
Polydactyl Red Silver Spotted Tabby With White 67/66

Following the neuter of King Triton, we were a little desperate to find a suitable new stud who could be suitably paired with King Apollo‘s daughters in a timely fashion. We not only fulfilled that wish, but we must have done some incredible deed in a past life because we found the boy of our dreams at the same time – the kind of boy we have dreamed about since before the official start of our cattery.

Kratos is the kind of male that catteries search for years to find, often with little success. He came to us at 10 months of age and within weeks, he championed at his very first TICA show, placing in the top 10 not just once but three times! He is a stunningly coated polydactyl with mitten paws and wonderful straight legs in the front and back. Kratos is also a spotted tabby, the rarest tabby pattern to exist in the Maine Coon breed. Kratos will be attending many shows in the 2025-2026 season, in the hopes of achieving even higher titles.

Kratos has passed his first annual heart echocardiogram, has gorgeous hips and patellas, and a nice clear genetic panel. On top of that, he boasts a wonderfully below-average COI (coefficient of inbreeding) and an incredible immune system!

Kronos

Red Smoke Polydactyl 66/66, TICA Registered

Kronos is a stunning red smoke boy from one of our all-time favorite catteries. He has the pseudo-merle effect (note: there is not a merle gene in cats, just a similar effect!) that is sometimes seen in silver and smoke cats!

Kronos is still under evaluation and the decision on whether or not he will become a Greek Garden King will be made after he has attended his first show or two and undergone his pre-breeding testing. Kronos will attend his first show in August or September of 2025, and undergo his hip and heart testing in October of 2025.

"Gonsior Line Keks" Cream Ticked Tabby, TICA and CFA Registered

Triton is a big boy! We waited a long time for him and were finally able to welcome him at 4 months old. He is everything we could have hoped for—an incredibly sweet, gentle giant and the perfect example of the Maine Coon breed. Despite his leonine (lion-like) face, Triton has the most adorable baby voice that doesn’t match his imposing appearance at all.

Because of his very large size, we are extra cautious in using Triton as our King. Maine Coons are already a large breed, and Triton is considered “extreme” in both size and features. We chose him because he brings a beautiful balance to our girls, blending some of their more “American” features to create cats that will succeed in shows. Triton is also competing in shows himself!

Update on Triton

In spring of 2025, Triton developed entropion, a condition in which the eyelids fold inward. Because entropion can sometimes be genetic, out of an abundance of caution, Triton was immediately neutered to prevent any risk to future litters. Triton has fully healed from his entropion and neuter surgeries and has been placed in an incredible and loving retirement home. He will continue to get annual HCM scans up to age 5.

As always, our commitment to health remains a top priority: all offspring produced by Triton will have entropion fully covered under our comprehensive 3-year health guarantee.
